Losing yourself in Hollow Lantern
Hollow Lantern doesn't hold your hand, and that's the best thing about it. It drops you into an empty town with a dwindling light and lets you figure out the rest.
The oil mechanic sounds stressful but it's really a nudge to keep moving and paying attention. You learn to read the environment for fuel, and that turns simple exploration into quiet problem-solving.

Play it with the sound up and the lights down. This is a mood-first game, and if you meet it halfway it gives a lot back.
